Hello my name is Heidi Lindsay (formally Heidi Schultz) . This is my first time blogging and I think it will be a great experience. I am a high school special education teacher at Walton, KY. I love my job and hope to continue working there for many years to come. I got my undergraduate degree in social work at NKU and worked for a couple of years in counseling, then got my teaching certificate in special education, now finishing up my Masters in teaching. I will complete the Masters, Teacher as Leader, program in May. I have been married for one year and we are expecting our first baby in June. We love spending time with our family and friends, traveling and watching sports. I look forward to this class and enjoy the new experience of blogging. I also lookf orward to talking more with all of you. :)
Hey congratulations on the baby- that will be great and what nice timing. I have an eight month old and he is wonderful. I like your photo and your introduction. Sounds like you did a round about way of getting to teaching but I am glad it has worked out. I look forward to hearing your ideas about curriculum and instruction through a special educators eyes. Glad to see you here.
